Youth Trip to Great Adventure
Our trip to Great Adventure has been scheduled for Thursday, August 27th, with a rain date of Friday, August 28th. If you are interested in going, please let Pastor Jane know as soon as possible. We will be leaving the church at 9:00 a.m. Cost will be approximately $50 each.
Rally Day at the Preakness Café
“Let’s Rock”
On Sunday, September 13th, we will officially begin our fall programs with our Rally Day at Preakness Café. Breakfast will be served at 10 a.m. in Kenyon Hall, followed by worship on our front lawn at 10:45 a.m. What a great way to begin another year and also to invite a friend or two! Mark your calendar!
A special thank you…
…to the many who adopted our “campers” who attended the 9th Workcamp experience to Port Jervis, New York. How wonderful to serve the Lord close to home and see how lives were touched within our church and outside these walls.
…to the many that opened their hearts and gave their time to welcome the Watts State Mission Team as they traveled to and from Boston.
…to the many that donated our snacks for our upcoming VBS “SonRock Kids Camp”. We look forward to great treats daily.
…to the many that have worked “behind the scenes” to beautify God’s home here at PBC. If you get a chance, take a walk around our church, inside and out and see the many changes and just how we sparkle! Thank you also to the many that continue to serve weekly in countless ways. What serving hearts from Our Lord. Thank you!
F.O.C.U.S.
We pray everyone is taking time to grow in the word this summer. F.O.C.U.S. groups will begin officially Sunday, September 20th, with Adults and Youth meeting at 9:15 a.m. and Children meeting during the second half of morning worship. If you would like to join the “teaching team” for children or youth, please see Anita Wetherhead . There is always room for one more teacher who loves the Lord and is eager to share His word with our children.

Mark your calendar for our first meeting in the fall on Tuesday night, September 15th at 7:00 p.m. Although we have not met for the summer, thank you for your continued work behind the scenes.

We give thanks for answered prayer! Please continue to lift many to Our Lord including Josephine Totaro, Joanne Custer, Ellis Marples, Allison Lick, Frankie Furnari, Ralph VanderMay, Marie Dorfman, Rich Rebecky, Ryan Megnin, Claire Wallenburg, Irma Fleming, Jacqueline Sauro, Ray and Norma Tarantino, and Marge Brightman. Please keep our church, its ministry, and its finances in your daily prayers also, as we seek God’s guidance in all our endeavors for 2009.
Worship Through Song
Save the date! Again this fall, our church has been invited back to Ramapo Valley Baptist Church on Sunday, October 25th, to share in an evening of worship through song. Many choirs will join together and worship including our own. Mark your calendar today as you will not want to miss this inspirational evening.
